Ep5 done
Episode 5 is drafted. Nearly half way to a first draft. I'm a little worried about the lack of action. Gillian was beat up plenty in this episode but does this type of story really need a sword fight or two? Or does the whole notion of action in radio really not work. Anyway, it's nice to move forward, especially given the week in my personal life. Whole days were lost to brooding and stupid problems. I think I'll at least create a file for E06 today, maybe write a page or two. I'm introducing the yeast merchants. I'll need to let them tell me who they are.

10:30 p.m. at the end of a good but long day at the university, and I'm finally ready to settle in to work. Paper on Eliot's _Middlemarch_. I'd say that I'd rather be writing drama, but at this point I'd be lying; writing in the intentionally obfuscating idiom for academic work is hard enough. Can't muster the energy right now to even consider writing for CLARITY!
Keep fighting the good fight. Someone groggy in NC is empathizing.
